Why I Prefer the 8900 Over The Bold

5 Top Reasons Why the 8900 is My Favorite:

1.) MUCH better camera (pics below)

2.) Lighter & Thinner (Bold feels huge & heavy in comparison)

3.) Faster scrolling in the browser

4.) Media card reads content MUCH quicker 

5.) Black trackball (won't show dirt after time)

These are just my 2 cents. I've read a million reviews, but this sums it up for me. I have tons of wallpapers on my media card and the 8900 pulls them up so so quickly, while the Bold is just as slow as the 8300. The browsers are equally fast, but keep in mind I am not using 3G ( because I am using an unlocked Bold on T-Mobile). I do not do a whole lot of browsing and have never even used 3G so this is not an issue for me. Also, the side convenience keys are easier to press for me on the 8900.  The Bold has a few advantages over the 8900 such as having the sd cards slot on the side rather than under the battery. Plus the usb cord is on the left which doesn't get in the way of typing while charging. 

Hope this info helps you if you are trying to decide between the 2. The 8900 is amazing and I love it even more after using the Bold (which I will still use of course!)

How To Use Your BB As a Modem

I'm not always in a location with a WiFi connection for my laptop. This week, I was in a pinch and tried (for the first time) to tether my 8900 for a connection. WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS BEFORE??? It is so easy and helpful! The instructions are simple and of course you have to have an unlimited data plan or your charges will be outta control. T-Mobile does not require an additional tethering plan but it might depend on carriers. The connection is a little slow, but who cares? Slow internet is a million times better than no internet.
